Through their artwork, stories, and cultural insights, we hope to inspire reflection, learning, and meaningful conversations about the lands we occupy and the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded them since time immemorial.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe recognize that no single publication can fully represent the diversity of Indigenous experiences. There are more than 570 federally recognized Tribal Nations in the United States, along with state-recognized Nations, Nations seeking recognition, and countless communities whose histories have been impacted by displacement, termination, and genocide. While this calendar cannot tell every story, it is our hope that it contributes to greater Indigenous visibility, understanding, and appreciation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn addition to artwork and educational content, we have included federally observed holidays and selected dates of cultural, environmental, and global significance.
